Visual learning is fun but also an aid to help kids understand certain concepts better. Let’s take math, for instance. Kids can watch you add and subtract on the board but it may not hit home unless you demonstrate for them.

Start with fun objects like play fruit or balls. Put them all together on one side of the table and have the child count them. Write that number on the board. Then, have the child subtract a certain number of balls from the group. Write that number after the minus sign on the board. Next, ask the child to count how many are left.
